Thanks DB - very interesting race. Great to know you can pick off a single event or two - as the full week is a bit intimidating. Thanks.

For hills you can't beat Hockley Valley near Orangeville
Hockley Valley and surrounding Bruce Trails are my regular turf... I'd be happy to suggest some loops depending on what you are looking for.

Re: Coyotes kill Toronto singer in Cape Breton
THanks Samantha -
This helped to put a more human/personal context rather than a focus on the coyotes.
There are still many questions as to exactly what happened - have the hikers who found her and called 911 ever told their story?

Coyotes kill Toronto singer in Cape Breton
What a tragic story. Running trails - alone - is one of my greatest joys in life. Coyote sightings are common, and I have never given them much attention. My prayers and condolences go out to the family, and a reminder to all to be careful out there... http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2009...

Peggy and Geoge deserve all of the kudos this race has a reputation for - but so do the team of volunteers. I was amazed at the support and smiles at every turn and the team of cheerleaders at the top of Skeleton Hill deserver a gold star for their encouragement on getting me over that obstacle! Man...
