Thanks for hosting the training run Pierre! The weather was perfect and the course was nicely groomed. Hopefully this weather holds out for the next two weeks!

I've run 100s both with and without pacers and have had good experiences in both situations. For me, the benefits of a pacer have little to do with the difficulty of the course. More than anything, it gives you a mental boost and you have someone there to remind you what the heck you're doing runnin...

I have no doubt you can finish. I'll even go one step further and predict that your competitive juices will be flowing and you will finish in around (or sub) 10 hours.

The screws are just plain sheet metal screws -- I got mine from home depot. Just make sure they're short enough so they don't actually go through the sole.
