Re: The Not-So-Flat Sulphur Springs FatAss
No prob...I just thought I would mention it if anyone cared to explore...it's a cool little section of trail that most don't get to see.

Re: The Not-So-Flat Sulphur Springs FatAss
I'm probably up for some of that ...there are a few more good hills like a roller coaster if you continue past the first peak on JT and can even do a bit of a loop in a field too....an idea anyways...see ya then.

I think we could all be better runners if we just thought to ourselves "WWED" What would Ed do? Truly amazing runner.

Re: Running at work and how to train?
Most of the workday is at a gentle pace otherwise I would get run down pretty quick. I pick up the pace during a "deadwalk" ie 100-200 meter stretch between calls. The stopping and starting I have managed by gradually slowing as I get closer to the meter otherwise I feel as if I have been ...

Running at work and how to train?
Hey all I have the wonderful opportunity everyday to run at work, while I work, as I am a Meter Reader. I average about 20k a day over 4-6 hrs a day. It's my choice whether I want to walk or run or skip if I really wanted to. My question is what is the best way to train? I have tried running at work...

A little hot at Limberlost
I signed up for this event in about March, wasn't even thinking about the heat yet haha. I drove up friday night having booked one night of camping and not wanting to do the 56k and 2 4hr drives in one day. I was certainly glad I did that! I pulled into the site about 5ish and quickly set up. A coup...

Way to go Ron!...you finished a few minutes ahead of me. That heat just killed me on the 3rd and 4th lap but the course was amazing and I had a fantastic time. Will definately be back.

Well done - congrats on your first. It was fun mud. Next time jump right in, we don't bite and we love to make you feel at home. How on earth did you recognize me from the way I was running? Ya I know, I know about the shy thing...work in progress I guess. Strider, I'm not really sure. We past each...

Muddy Springs Race Report
I had a fantastic time on the course this year! My plan this year is for a few 50k's and then 50m in Haliburton, this was race #1. I went into it with no time expectations only to have trained well enough that I could finish somewhat comfortably. All went well. I showed up early to watch the 50 and ...
