Anyone know where we can buy this in Canada? Didn't find it anywhere...

Re: Convince me to get a Garmin
I agree... you don't NEED one, but it's a nice tool to have when you are training for an event and want to make sure you follow a certain speed or distance in a workout... But I also find that you can easily become a slave to these devices and I run more and more without my Garmin. I don't train for...

I can't join you because of a small nagging heel injury, but can you please take a few pictures of the trail's condition? I'm curious to see what it looks like as of this week... I hope to start hitting the trails very soon!

I ran in Mizuno Ascend 3 and 4 and La Sportiva Wildcat before.
The Montrail Mountain Masochist is by far my favorite shoe.
What do you run in on the road?
Mizuno Elixir

Have you tried the Masochist? Just curious as I never tried other Montrail shoes, but the Masochist certainly don't feel heavy to me...

Re: Commuter vs Road Bike?
I commuted with my road bike all summer last year and decided to use a commuter this year. First reason is comfort. My road bike has an aggressive geometry and with tires inflated to over 100psi, it can get uncomfortable when you have to stop at red lights, go around potholes and endure all the crac...

Good to see this thread has pulled you out of the wooodwork JF !! Isn't P7 where we ran the first group trail run la...

Our run last night was great but the hills were a tough climb with the high humidity. Lots of muddy sections that tried to swallow us up!! I saw a Coyote when I pulled into the parking lot. For some reason they scare me more than a bear but that is likely because I have some bear run-ins. I...

So, the MEC rack for the panniers won't fit on my bike. I'm not surprised, nothing ever fits on this bike. I'm not sure who designed this bike, but they did a poor job. The bike won't fit on bike racks, most saddle bags and most water bottle holders won't fit, etc. etc. I don't really like t...
