Yeah man... interested even though I am out of shape and slow and will need a bigger RM shirt. I saw it was mentioned in Canadian Running magazine. Format is exactly like the Blue Ridge Relay that I used to do in the USA in Virginia - North Carolina. Website mentions: - Race is June 14-15 (Fri-Sat)....

OMG.... I think we now live in a new era for marathons where security will be a big question, especially at the big races.

Re: Throw your runners away and learn to run properly
I've walked in my Vibram Five Fingers for last two years, then last fall I tried running in them. Did pretty good and got up to 8 miles but would get some blisters. But then I developed an IT band injury but I had already registered for the Toronto Marathon. Suddenly I found I could not run 2 miles ...

Re: Goofy Challenge: Not really an ultra but...
I did the goofy and had a blast! I think running 50 miles is not the key (ie running super long). Instead I think being able to run two days in a row (the trick is being able to run the marathon on day2). This is my experience: Did the Goofy about 4 months after doing my first marathon. The half mar...

Tough call. I used to use orthotics for walking a long time ago but no longer need them. Doctors say my feet are great now. Picking up women while running
Just got back from running 9 miles with a friend who is 17 yrs younger than me. He stops this beautiful woman, he chats with her, I gave then some privacy, he gets her phone number, we start to run again, and in excitement he suddenly sprints full speed ahead. Yep, I guess he achieved his running go...

OOPS! I guess I better be careful what I type. I still have never changed a baby's diapers before, but maybe that will change someday. Step #1 is for us to wait for Marsha's Immigration application to be approved (hopefully in next two months).
