Re: what do you guys think about...
I didn't reply because I don't really have the time (or interest to be honest) in putting in the effort locally. My life has changed with a toddler, and running isn't as at the forefront as it once was to me. The people I've met on here (and "met" online but not IRL) are still important to...

Re: First Tuesday of 2018
I ran a mile then walked another 1.5 (all treadmill, too chilly outside for my liking). This chest cold knocked me off my feet for 3 weeks, so letting myself slowly get back on them.

Re: This happens right?
It happens. I have heard that pregnancies can do this to you. It hasn't happened to me yet post pregnancy (I'm really just gettinnback to running now) but I know it has happened to friends of mine. One even started wearing pads every time she ran as she expected it to happen. I'm not sure how much s...

Re: Fresh20 - Meal Planning Service
Bumping from a while ago ... We just recently subscribed for the year. I had a few sample weeks that we tried out and found it was working pretty well for us as we were too tired of the same meals week after week. We've been following for about 6 weeks now. Most meals have been really good, some goo...

Tv coverage is still on here so we are watching. Jesse and my friend Diana are pretty close on to each other. He predictors show them finishing 7 seconds apart.

Re: Hot running (newish) Momma's thread...
Thanks for the input! I went back and found some old threads on this as well. I've tried locking the front wheel on walks but that's awful to steer. I've done a little jog down the street on walks and she seems fine. It's not like I was a fast runner even in my prime, so I expect at my pace, it will...

Re: Hot running (newish) Momma's thread...
New question - stroller running.... when did you start? Any tricks or lessons for a newbie? Jessie will be 6 months next week. I have a BOB, and I know the manual says 8 months for running, but that seems fairly conservative. I remember conversations on the forum way before I thought about having a ...

Re: Hot running (newish) Momma's thread...
Now that I am a momma, I thought I'd post in this thread! No running for me for a few months at least as I get back on my feet after having my little girl last week. But I look forward to getting back at it eventually, first getting back into walks after a while, then running. I'm in no huge hurry b...

I got dh to drop me off 3k from work this morning to get in a bit of a walk. Some days (most days lately) that's all I get done. Hoping to get out for more walking at lunch. If it rains later this week, I will go to the gym for cycling/weights.

TGI Thursday!
Started the day at the gym on a date with hubby. 30 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes treadmill. Now just the work day to get through before the long weekend!
