Run Toronto
I will be staying in Toronto for 4 days this month right next to Rogers. I know that the waterfront is really close by from my last stay there, is it good to run? Are there running routes you can suggest from this location? TIA.

Don't know why I bought the snow again, but it's sat in my fridge all week and needs to be eaten! lol I'm thinking grilled cheese sandwiches since I have a teenager with me this week who hates stirfry. https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a51638/cauliflower-grilled-cheese-recipe/ Not...

Re: What to do with cauliflower snow
Seeing this too late. I really only use it as a rice substitute (e.g., with a curry). I’ve done cauliflower pizza crust and cauliflower oatmeal, but the rice substitute is the only one I’ve repeated. Oh, and I guess mashed, but I haven’t done that in a while! Did I undercook mine ? I found it wasn’...

I bought a bag at costco... I don't have the rest of the ingredients for pizza for tonight but I need to use it up - anyone have a tried and true recipe? or if it's really only good for pizza crust do you have a good pizza crust recipe you've used and I'll grab the pizza ingredients on the way home?

Re: Walking ... how do you keep from boredom
South side near Century Park... really the terwillegar dog park isn't too far away but with the shortened days I just have no motivation to go down there at night with the dog. I hope it gets better in the spring/summer. Maybe I should find a walking group, or just drive somewhere I like to walk 2x/...

Walking ... how do you keep from boredom
Does anyone walk anymore? I want to start making walking a more consistent habit for myself but the only time I feel HAPPY or not bored walking is when I am a) at the dog park trails or b) have music... but even then I can't stand walking in my neighbourhood. I get so BORED. Anyone else? tips? I'm t...

Re: Garmin Vivoactive HR (thoughts?)
Someone on the government of alberta classifieds is selling the vivosmart HR for 135. I read the reviews and it looks like a better tracker than my jawbone UP which I'm annoyed by. The only thing I read that I didn't like was that it didn't have workouts for bike or swim (so no lap counting or bike ...

Re: Gastrointestinal Issue During Runs
Banana is probably fine but other fruits might not be the best option before a run. I dunno. I've always had this problem.. usually for me would set in at about the 30 min of running mark and then just "panic!". You could start a food journal and log what you ate (even what you eat the day...

Re: Hot breakfast cereals
Running Goddess wrote:i have started having the refrigerator oatmeal. I make it the night before and grab it in the morning and eat it cold. Yummy. 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 tbsp chia, 2 tbsp coconut, a couple sliced strawberries and 1 tsp honey mix and put in fridge.
Do you have to heat it?
