Re: Merry Christmas Friday!

Ran a 7k...probably more...the treadmill is possessed, it needs an exorcism. Other than that...got cross country skis...can't wait to try them out. Gunna head to a sports store tomorrow to pick up poles...I forgot to ask for those haha. And give them a whirl. Hope I'm a natural haha

Re: Sunday, Dec 6. 20 years later.

Slept most of the day, until 15:30. Which is decent. Back to work tonight, will most likely run another 5k at midnights around the experimental farm. Just finished an 8k on the tread though. Feeling good.

Re: Snowy Saturday

Was supposed to run a 8k today and a 12k tomorrow, but opted for the 12k today, as I work nights tonight and tomorrow, and will probably sleep until 5pm tomorrow haha. I really need to fix the treadmill though, it's really slipping a lot, and the motor randomly speeds up...that phenomena ever happen...

Re: Racing flats for a half marathon?

Back when I ran my 1:17 half, I wore nike free's. I just put an extra insole in them and trained in them. Worked well. I wore my addidas racing flats for Toronto as well, did the same thing. Worked fine.

I did the treadmill. Crate training the puppy anyway, so it worked out. I got to listen to the puppy's techno howl remix. It was divine.

Re: brrrrr Monday

Running a 5k today, with swissball exercises. Did a 10k yesterday. Time not a factor, just ran for the sake of running. Was nice. Debating on whether to use the treadmill, or run outside. I loathe snow.

Re: Skiing Saturday

was going to run outside, but the wind was atrocious in the city today, so I opted for the treadmill instead. Ran a quiet 7k felt great the whole way, was going to just keep running until I got tired, but I have to remain on track, and prepare for the next day.

The long road...

It's been months of, I'll start tomorrow, and next week. But it never came, but the weight certainly did. So, two weeks ago, I said enough is enough, and started a diet, and running again. Again. The weight is flying off, but I suspect it will slow down in a few weeks, but the running is getting str...

I was hoping that maybe someone from downtown, or farther west would like to offer me and my lovely gf a ride out there. Our plans fell through just now, and we have no way out there. I was planning on running the 10, but need to be there early to register. So if anyone can help.. I can even be in O...

Yea, they look like "Jimmy's" shoes on Seinfeld...but I gotta give a report after wearing these. Took em for a 20k today, to give them the test. Sure my other shoes were jealous, and I can hear them bickering in the closet as I type this. Took these suckers up and down hills, on gravel the road, too...
