Have already registered.

I've attended every one except the one held during the first year. I guess I won't be eligible for the "special prize" in two years.

Wow, it IS hard to believe that the RM gathering in Kingston was a year ago. Some highlights I remember: > Meeting so many people at the pub > Seeing Ken's prosthetic "buns on the run" > Trying to find Jo-Jo's house with nothing but an address - no map, GPS or clue how to get around Kingston > Stayi...

Congrats on deciding to run the half.

Like others have said, take it easy and listen to your body. Eating and sleeping are very important - and much more fun to do than hill training

I'm just reading this now, as I've been MIA for a while. Holly, please accept my belated CONGRATULATIONS!! 4:56 is an awesome time - you have gotten so much faster since Rome! The 5 hour mark was the goal for my two marathons. I hoped to get faster the second time around, like you've managed to do w...

Wow, that's amazing! Congrats.

I remember seeing you when you passed me at Scotiabank last fall....you were at the 39K mark and I was on the opposite side of the road at about 23K or something.

Hey, if you weren't juggling how much faster do you think you'd run?

#6?! Wow, I have been out of the RM loop.
Feels like only yesterday I was high-fiving Ian at Scotiabank after completing his first marathon.

Hello everyone! I've fallen off the RM wagon so thought I'd quickly pop in before my run and say hello. Doing a short run this a.m. - probably only 5 or 6k. Since I'm technically not training for a race in the next little while, I find my distances are determined by the weather. On another note, I'm...

I, for one, loved this concept and would be interested in doing it for 2007.

I can't wait to see where in Canada I ended up.

Thanks for doing this, Stephan!

That's great. If you're not planning to run any races in the Spring, you should pre-pay for a fall marathon or half.

Funny, I wrote down some 2007 goals a few weeks ago. > Take some time to rest - 2006 was a huge year for running and I think it took a bit of a toll on my body. Once I'm rested up.... > Run a sub 1:00:00 10K > Run a sub 2:14:56 Half Other: > Climb the stairs of the CN Tower in 21:00. I think my PB i...

Yep, I've experienced them at two points during my short running career. Once in the Fall of '05 when I had an iron deficiency and now due to hyperthyroism.

Could it be for one of those two reasons?

I love bananas too and always stock up at the grocery store.

I just wish they didn't ripen so quickly. I have to keep on top of my banana supply or else I have to make a banana bread.

Goodlife Corporate membership = $33/month, which includes towel service and all classes are included. I like the convenience of multiple locations to access as well. Same here. Hyperthyroidism

Over the last few months I've been feeling rather sluggish and not myself. My marathon training was going well and I was sure I'd PB at Scotiabank in October. But then in August I started feeling off and noticed that I didn't have the same pep as before. My runs became laboured death marches, where ...

Nike 10K '07?

Does anyone know if this race will take place in Toronto this coming summer?

I heard somewhere that Nike holds this event every other year as a marketing gig.
