Re: Marden Half Marathon $15
Fastest master fastest master fastest master! During the short time he was within sight, I saw a marshall send him down the wrong route as well. The PB time includes that wasted U-turn. Yeah I saw that too...was wondering what was going on there! When he "wizzed" past me, I was still on t...

Re: Marden Half Marathon $15
Awesome day for racing, nice and cool and clear skies. I had a great race, finished strong, a PB, great motivator on a challenging course.
Tailgate party afterwards with Double-Bellybuster and crew. Perfect morning.

Given that the error messages ("Resource Limit Reached" or something similar) have occurred near the end of each of the last few months, I just assumed that it was a bandwidth quota issue and that I should get back to productive work until the start of the next month. (For Mac users, &quo...

Re: Seeking Advice
In the house.... In 2008 I ran both, I was 38, I was a 3:05 marathoner on paper at the time. It was my first Boston. I hurt my achilles over the winter and was just barely healing before ATB. I ran ATB at marathon pace, the pace I planned running in Boston, I wanted to run sub 3 in Boston. ATB race ...

No egg nog, no ice or snow, I think you missed out? Maybe we trade next year so you don't miss the Egg Nog Jog, I'd do that for you.
Thanks for sharing Ken, another great adventure!

10 times @ Egg Nog Jog
My 10th Egg Nog Jog, and another shot at sub 40 min goal. This year the weather was as good as it could be, many times the race has been icy or snowy, so just being -10C and dry was good. I arrived early to get a good parking space, then went out for a 3k job, talked to Thomas a guy in his 20's that...

Re: EGG NOG JOG 2013
Course Report: I just got off the hill, most of the course is now asphalted, the only dirt road section is about 1/2 km, that is just before the big hill and on the big hill itself, the rest has all been asphalted. Should make the course quicker, especially if we get and snow or ice before the race....

Re: New 2000m Canadian record!
Yeah track is definitely cool, I wish I lived closer to TO to make it easier to participate in some. There are plenty of track meets on line, Flotrack covers most, and Trackie.ca covers most of Canadian ones, the Diamond League track series is awesome to watch it travels mostly through Europe. Guelp...
