Garmin 305 Possible Birth Defect Warning
My Mom and her husband just bought a 205 this morning and as they were going through the manual and I got a franic phone call saying that both the 205 and the 305 come with the following warning: WARNING: This product, its packaging, and its components contain chemicals known to the state of Califor...

My husband and I JUST BOUGHT the Pro Platinum VR treadmill last week and it is amazing. Having the 3% incline will be nice to mix up the workouts once we get used to it and having the VR courses to run will be great since they are modeled after real courses. Its a little more expensive than the Pro ...

two pairs of running socks - the ones with toes. They're actually pretty creepy looking . Those socks may look creepy but they are soooo comfortable to run in. I have a pair and I absolutely love them. For Christmas I got a few RR Gift Certificates, a really nice Nike top that I can't wait to try o...

Up until last month I was paying $85 a month for the Womens Members Plus locker room membership. It included towels, toiletries, a pretty big workout area in the changeroom (I rarely had to leave it to go to the general workout room), a sauna and a whirlpool. Since we moved into the new house we bou...

I used to have a cast iron stomach when I was younger. I could go eat a Turkey dinner then go train for 3 hours with no problem (did it on a few occasions), now I can't say thats true anymore!! I can't eat pretty much anything with tomatoes, fast food, or soup before I run. I've had bad experiences ...

I totally understand how you feel! I lost my mojo so long ago I can barely remember what it feels like to want to go out for a run (except for a few weeks right after Melissas in September, then I lost it again). I've started to get back into it as a de-stress from all the holiday stuff that is goin...

I have tendonitis and bursitis in both shoulders and I find that icing after a workout really helps calm my muscles down. Once in a while I'll put heat on them to help the blood flow but I only do it at night or if its really cold and I can feel my muscles start to tighten up. And an Advil or two on...

I think my sister-in-law and I are going to do the Resolution run! She just had a baby a month ago (my beautiful neice!! - yes I am a very proud auntie) and is 99% sure she will be given the go ahead to run on Monday from her doctor. Once she knows for sure we'll be signing up and I might actually g...

My husband and I just bought the Bowflex Elite 2 that is only available through Costco last week. It is amazing and after a few more 'learning sessions' I'm sure I'll have a killer workout planned. With our bowflex we got the Itrainer software included which is really really helpful since it shows y...
