Re: Muggy Monday
A bit disappointed that I didn't manage to get on the exercise bike yesterday, but all is good because my family surprised me by celebrating my bday a day early.
Today's goal is to get on that bike!

According to her post in the NET, all is well and he's up and about.
Yes! All is very well thanks! A headache, and the side of his face is a bit swollen, but this was expected.

I went from marathon mileage to zero with my foot injury back in 2009 (10 weeks total off) and then it took another 11 months to get back to half-marathon mileage. I was up to 10k+ within a few months bu...

Re: Starting the Tuesday Thread because I can
30 mins easy on the exercise bike done and hitting the pool later for some laps which should be a very slow process as I have not done them in like a year? Stay out of CinC's lane, OK? ;) Considering I can't kick in the water yet, I'll be trying to stay out of everyone's way. I may have...

Happy Canada Day!
Taking a rest day myself as I will be getting enough of a workout trying to get around at the Canada Day celebrations then have to take pics of bridges and buildings for homework - my lovely DH is going to be my caddy.

Like many other runners/walkers/etc, I go insane when I am sidelined for injuries. I wanted to do this event with my son and when I broke my leg at the other race, I got u...
