Re: Muggy Monday

A bit disappointed that I didn't manage to get on the exercise bike yesterday, but all is good because my family surprised me by celebrating my bday a day early. :D

Today's goal is to get on that bike!

Have a date with the exercise bike right away here for a longer ride ~ hopefully an hour and a quarter at least. :)

According to her post in the NET, all is well and he's up and about.

Yes! All is very well thanks! A headache, and the side of his face is a bit swollen, but this was expected.

Re: Injured List

Everybody is different in their susceptibility to reinjury and how fast the fitness comes back. I went from marathon mileage to zero with my foot injury back in 2009 (10 weeks total off) and then it took another 11 months to get back to half-marathon mileage. I was up to 10k+ within a few months bu...

Re: Starting the Tuesday Thread because I can

30 mins easy on the exercise bike done and hitting the pool later for some laps which should be a very slow process as I have not done them in like a year? Stay out of CinC's lane, OK? ;) Considering I can't kick in the water yet, I'll be trying to stay out of everyone's way. I may have...

Sigh.... Still relegated to no running. Did manage 10 minute warmup walk, 30 Min elliptical, and 15 minute stationary bike. Did sweat a bit. Hopefully I'll be back out there soon!. Legs are itching, but other body parts - not so much. Here's to hoping for you too... Today's plan is to finally get t...

Candlerun wheels the Mogathon 5k

Ok... so I did not run/swim/bike the 5k, but it was an event that will go down in the history book for me and I had so much fun. Like many other runners/walkers/etc, I go insane when I am sidelined for injuries. I wanted to do this event with my son and when I broke my leg at the other race, I got u...
