Re: Sturdy Dog Collar?

We use a martingale collar for our beasts and it works well. Also had good results with the senseible harness... I too endorse the martingale collar. Actually the one C-Moss has from Canine Equipment is a martingale. For those who wonder what this is...the one C-Moss has is fabric with a "piec...

Re: Be safe...be seen - What my community is doing about it

IG, the same thing happened to me the other day at a light. I had the green to go south and a lady was making a right on the red. She looked left and waited until the road was clear, all the while I am standing at the corner with Oliver trying to get her to see me. :? I'm not sure if the lights help...

Re: PX90

I tried to search for "P90X" because there have been a few discussions about it... but I couldn't find them. I think Jordan might be one of the only ones here that actually followed through with it. :) I saw the infomercials on TV a lot when I was home in August, and was curious if people...

Re: Suddenly Saturday

4.5 k done here in -14°/-23° I had all the right layers on and my face was really the only part that was cold near the end. Could have done without the last km straight into the north wind, but there was no other way home. :P Missed my furry running buddy because I thought it would be too cold for O...

Waiting for the sidewalks to warm up a bit before heading out with Oliver. Looks like it is going to be super cold here over the weekend so I will try to get my longer run done today and leave the shorter one for the frigid weather on Saturday. Happy New Year! 5km done with Ray & Oliver. My lon...

Re: Online training journals/tracker - Options?

Robbie's site is great. I use it for all my races, but I also use http://www.runningahead.com for all my workouts. It is great site for multisport activities. I like the look of that one! I like the monthly "at-a-glance" format as it is similar to the paper version that I write my schedul...

Re: THURSDAY - Blue Moon end to a Decade!

Didn't get time to post yesterday but just over 6km in the books. Tonight, I didn't have much time before getting ready for my friend to come over so I hit the stairs. I live in a 27 story apartment, on the 20th floor. I climbed up to 27 then down to the main floor up to 27 down to 1; up to 27 down...

Re: Lululemon for Running

We (London) did have some last week but I think we might have gone through the last couple pairs in the last few days. Sorry:( That's ok, I found them! I went to the Scarborough store and the girl confirmed that they are sold out, but pointed me to a rack in my size that had various pants on it. I ...

Can anyone from LuLu tell me if there are any Run Windsprint Pants left in the country? On the website they have been moved to Loot, but they only have a size 2 available. :(

Re: Your favourite run of 2009

With Oliver in Huntsville on Sunday, December 28th. We rounded a bend in the road and suddenly it was fields of snow and trees for as far as you could see. White everywhere, and the only sound was the snow flakes hitting my hat. It was surreal and I wanted to capture the moment somehow to bring it h...

Woke up to -21° at the cottage this morning with a good layer of ice on the inside of the windows! Warmed up now with the wood stove roaring.

Heading back to T.O. after lunch :( so likely no time for a run today.
