Awesome game. The big names goalies had the night off but it was so good to watch some pro puck again. The think the Leafs were smart in only signing Lindros for a year, my bets are that he will be sidelined by Christmas. Sens picking up Heatley will be one of the team's best moves ever. No huge los...

How sad. regardless of who it was, I hope they rest in peace. I am getting scared of all trail systems and we have such nice ones around home. Wat a shame when you can't feel free and safe in your own neighbourhood.

I had the same pre-occupations a couple of years ago in prep for my first ever half. I was so discouraged because I knew it was going to be my agony day on race day. I ended up clocking a better time than i ever expected regardless, with the help of an advil and good old adrenaline to distract me. T...

Bman, are you doing the Kanata one? I will keep an eye out for you if so. Although I am restricted from running because of my knee, I am fed up and plan to run this regardless... Sounds perfectly normal to me. The foot is expected to pronate during running & walking. If I remember correctly you land on the outside of your heel, the foot rools inward a bit and you come off more from the inside. But, I'm a novice at this stuff. If you're running your mileage painfree and ...

I read it and enjoyed it the way that I enjoyed books like John Grisham's The Firm - couldn't put it down at the time, highly enjoyable, reads like a screenplay and could even visualize who I wanted to play each of the roles. I'm intrigued by the subject matter, but I do understand that it's just f...

I am just really glad you got out to enjoy it! I was out biking around those trails yesterday and was out for a 25km bike ride. YAY, my first outdoor ride in ages. I am on the road to recovery... or I am deluding myself and just doing stuff regardless. I snuck in 15 minutes on the treadmill today be...

ok but some sites you really have to seriously stay away from. Are you strictly a new purchaser or do you mind used? I am an admin on a MTB site and I frequent a few other bike sites, thus my question. There are used items frequently available. Please PM me if you want any other info. cheers marg

Depending on what you are looking for, I could pass along a plethora of online shops, and other options, such as buy/sell on bike forums etc.

You are right near the TCT - The Trans Canada Trail if you are in Bells COrners. If you see an overpass at the far left end of Robertson Road, that is the route access. It is wonderful and we used it from the Kanata RR for LSDs during 1/2 training. THere is an abundance of trail options. You can mes...

Wow, hate to throw a word of caution out, but as someone who knows... (just read my member profile post), be careful !

The body needs to heal as much as it needs to be pushed.
