Re: On the Eve of Christmas....
I have dinner at my Mom's tonight, then tomorrow is actually quiet, no dinner, just presents and hot chocolate. I found a CRAZY fattening "Polar Express" Hot Chocolate that I am going to make, maybe a movie in the afternoon.

Looking for healthy, freezable meals
I am looking for meals that I can pre-cook and then reheat in a microwave easily - stuff that my whole family can eat so we don't spend our entire move dining out at restaurants...
Anyone have any brilliant ideas?

Awwww! I woke up with one, but it cleared up. Feel better!
I liked this tea, as something to have when I don't feel well. It seems like it would be soothing on the tummy.

Re: First Try A Tri...
Jwolf - they just had us swim for twenty minutes, ride a spin bike for twenty, and run on a TM for twenty. I made it 600 metres, 7.5 miles and 1.57 miles (stupid ITB).
Not awesome, but it's done!

First Try A Tri...
So, I did the Try A Tri offered at the Wing today as part of "World Sports Day". It was well-organized and very friendly. My knees and left IT band are killing me, so that sucks, but it's my own fault - wasn't planned so I hadn't swam, biked or ran in months. But it's done, and the first t...

Buzzfeed - things non-runners don't get about runners
Not sure if this was posted already (hope not) but anyway, for your daily chuckle (unless you are reading Turd's awful joke on Facebook too, I admit to laughing at the dolphin one)

Re: STWM: My first (and last?) full marathon
Congrats on toughing it out! And don't threaten to break up for good too soon  . Give yourself plenty of time to recover and enjoy running again before you make any big decisions! Yes. Isn't there a "rule" that you can't make any major decisions like that until at least a week later....

Training plan for busy moms...
I remember seeing a training plan for busy moms, it basically broke down all of your training runs into "nice to do" vs "MUST do"...anyone remember this? My sister is looking at doing a half, but needs a flexible running plan.
