BFF http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm291/uRun2/IMG_0367.jpg Neil looks like he is with an octopus. Does she predict the outcome of sporting events? I guess that is a crab. Poor Neil, his crab is not even 50 yet! Should be a bear because that's what I felt like today... Marg -- than...

Good luck at the Boilermaker Jesse and Sonia! Happy anniversary Mike and Carrie, and Rob and Bridie! 23 km done with Neil. The plan called for 25 km but we took some l-o-n-g walk breaks. We're really having trouble with hydration on our long runs lately. Bringing three little Fuel Belt bottles on a ...

11 km done at lsd pace. It was supposed to be 12 km but I don't know what happened -- Neil might have turned his Garmin off for a bit. We waited until muggy-o'clock to head out, ugh. I think my iPod is done. I left it in my wet armband on Tuesday and it wouldn't work for 24 hours, then it died again...

50k trail run, done like dinner! I'm a little sunburned now. But the run was awesome... I felt great right up until the end. Time: 7:30-ish Calories consumed: 1600 (finally broke the 200/hour mark) Water consumed: about 5L Elevation: don't know because garmin won't connect  but it was much to...

11.5 km done. Same deal as yesterday -- slow, lots of Gatorade, enjoyable once I got going. Only two other runners out there. I just can't seem to get out the door early-early -- not sleeping super well.

18 km, slow, lots of Gatorade. Only two other runners out there, lots of cyclists. For the most part I enjoyed it, but I'll head out earlier next time.

Re: Independence Day Sunday
Feel better, killerbeetle... :( 40 km ride with Neil this morning. We passed what we both thought was a Massasauga Rattle Snake on the road (not dead looking, either). But when we looked it up, we discovered it is unlikely to find one of these this far east. It was most likely an Eastern Fox Snake. ...

Best wishes to Marg and Coco...
Great run, Strider! We saw your car in one of the car parks on Corkstown, but we did not see any runners out there. 25 km done, slightly different route from usual. Good pace, good run.
Have a nice weekend!

Re: Yoga
I've practiced both Kripalu and Hatha. I've often wished that I had continued with the Kripalu, but I was young and it was a tiny class with very intense teachers. (Far fewer options in Peterborough in the mid-eighties!) It's too bad I've given my book away already. I loved the Hatha too; although i...
