I'm thinking of quite a small patch. A round RM logo, maybe the size of a twoonie... Which would also go well on gy...

Re: April Half Marathons

I've been thinking about doing the Waterloo Marathon Half. It is also on April 23. http://www.eventsonline.ca/events/sjamarathon/ Sounds a little more "rural" than Hamilton, which I prefer. Funny that they would put a new half on the same day as an established and nearby one. Just wondering if any G...

Sulphur Springs had some big hills, but the trail was mostly smooth 2-wide limestone or dirt path. I'm getting my racing plan from the OUSer site too. I was thinking of making SS my first 50 mile (hopefully after an early 50k at Ganaraska) and this description only sweetens the deal. Thanks. Make s...

my primary focus is going to be on the OUS Ontario Trail Series. It consists of 10 races, 9 25Ks and one 32. My “plan A” has me doing up to 7 of them. I ran a 10K at Sulphur Springs and the 25 at Vulture Bait this year, and they were the highlights of my season. Cool stuff , for some reason I was u...

Nice report Robbie. Can you imagine trying to run even splits on this course? Pretty tough in escarpment country. This was a fun race, with the odd distance, terrain and weather, it felt more like a trail race. I felt strong the whole way too, maybe I had a little too much gas left in the tank at th...

I went out and ran the course about a month ago, and what I remember most is the big downhill to start. See you there Robbie.

Re: Paris Grand 1/2 Marathon Report

I didn't see BaldGuy, I don't think he made it, however I did meet Sheldon (a lurker) from Georgetown that introduced himself to me, he was a nice guy and had a nice race too. I am that lurker, but I just gotta come out to describe the race from a little furthur back in the pack. I was having a nic...
