Re: Toronto Waterfront Marathon/Half/5K- who's in?

I sold my bib :? I will run 5Km on that day but just not ready to be doing any type of running in such a big crowd right now.
I will be on course to cheer on a friend running her first half though, so hope to see some Maniacs out there.

Re: Back to start - again, yes again

Went to the gym today. I found it and no amazingly loud alarms went off indicating that I have not been there in months, so that part was good  http://www.thespec.com/print/article/532802 Did a flexi bar class with the addition of xco (dumbells?). I have read quite a few reviews on how easy thi...

Re: Back to start - again, yes again

Good work ladies! I know a lot of people would not think 4km is a lot but for me it was more about being on a team and the pressure that *I* put on myself that way. 4km is still a lot for me and I am so happy to have done it on this day for that reason. I am looking forward Scotia 5k so I can set th...

Re: Back to start - again, yes again

4km tonight. I guess I am off the program for now as I get ready for Sat.

Do I go back on after it or make up something new since I will be at running 4km already?

Nervous for Sat as team/relay events scare me and I feel pressured.

D is me! Just don't keep me waiting, I hate waiting! No pressure though. Yup thanks Doonst. Bad planning on my part though. I joined this to enjoy the event and managed to not have my 4km near any serious runners who I would feel pressured to not let down. Um ya.....got me who might be able to slog...

If anyone wants one or all the distances (he was running 3 legs) please contact me. You do not need to pay or raise money - we just want a running person. The first leg is ne...

Re: Back to start - again, yes again

I spoke to the team leader and told her to change me to the leg I signed up for. I cannot mentally deal with the pressure of getting my team 'swept' off the course. This is the reason I have never signed up for really despite really wanting to do cabot trail! I can run 8km but not at the time they w...

Departure from the program. I ran 2km before work. I could have run 3 or 4 but did not get my arse out of bed quick enough. I need to figure out how I am going to run 7.4km this weekend for the Sears Run. I signed up for 4km but now got assigned to the 7.4km leg! I am also going to sign up for Scoti...
