Working this morning, this afternoon Cara and I are dropping the girls off at Grandma's house for a sleep over. Tonight is date night! Movie and I will be making dinner for my lovely wife.

I had a total rest day yesterday. So that means today will be full. Run 12k swim 2k and ride my bike home from work 27k.

My wife Cara and my two Daughters, Victoria(6) and Laura(4) will be there with me. I hope it will fun for the whole family. They love to watch me race. Victoria cried last year when we told them that they would not be going to Boston with me.

gonna slack off, eh? - slacker! ;) great swim!! what's on the schedule for your summer of tri's? Not to sure yet. I was going to do Muskoka and Peterborough for sure but Muskoka is on Fathers day and does not fit in the plans for the weekend. So now I am looking for another race or two, maybe Kings...

Today was one of those days at the pool where everything went right! Prior to todays swim I had not gone farther than 3k (120 lengths) Up early this morning and did a nice 12.1k run in 54:32 with a race pace 5k in 18:42 on a rolling hills course. Took an early lunch to get to the pool for a good long swim and it turned out to be a really long swim....

Today was my second day in a row of riding my bike to work and if the weather is not too bad I will be riding home as well. throw in a run at luch time and my day will be full.

I don't like coming into work after a 2 week holiday in the sun :(

When I ran my BQ time at PEC in 2004 it qualified me for two years but I only went for the first one. went for a nice run in the sunny weather and found it too hot. I went out for an easy run but it turnedinto a long run with no water or anything else.
