Re: What can you tell me about minimalist shoes?
I had been running in the Mizuno Ronin 3s, and LOVED them. However, coming back from the injury the PT actually sent me to see Pete to find a "more than one Cinderella shoe" solution. Pete set me up with the Brooks PureFlow, and the 4mm drop combined with cushioning is working really well ...

Re: Canadian Cartel Icebreaker Sale
Email alert just went out: Last Day! More Sizes and new product added! I don't see anything new in the women's section. :/ Nor did I. Only difference was sock sizes that had sold out last week are once again available. I can't tell if Men's has new items, as I didn't look in said section last week!

Re: David's Tea
Has anyone tried Hot Lips? Does it have any mint flavour to it, or just cinnamon/spice? I've never tried it - but it's on my "to try" list. According to various reviews, it tastes like cinnamon hearts - which leads me to believe no mint flavouring. If no maniacs have tried, perhaps post t...

Squash & Lentil Coconut Curry. Normally one of my fall faves, but it was a little out of place given the record high temperature today! Regardless, it was still super yummy, and the boys ate without complaint. recipe? Ingredients 2 tbsp. EVOO 2 medium onions chopped 2 medium cubed, peeled fresh...

6.5K done running up and down the driveway... Yes, you read it correctly! Just saw that on FB! How long is your driveway? I think it would take me about 87 million laps to do mine - it's only 2 cars long. A little over 200 feet from the garage to the road. With no hubby, and my both neighbours who ...

Apparently, it is also valid for their clearout shoes and other goods, as well on their website, already discounted by up to 75%, assuming that they still have your choice of shoe and size in stock ... WOW! Thank you for pointing this out Andy. Normally the coupons won't work in the sale se...

Re: Canadian Cartel Icebreaker Sale
I've ordered from Canadian Cartel (they did a huge Moving Comfort blowout in the summer). Great prices, and shipping is free if you exceed $75. Only catch is to watch the "estimated delivery" underneath the Add to Cart option - for some items, it may takes weeks for delivery. The ICEBREAKE...

Re: David's Tea
Does anyone have Banana Dream Pie handy? This afternoon, my neighbour was over. She commented my BDP tastes like bananas, whereas hers takes like plain old black tea. Barb noted my bag has TONS of dried bananas pieces, hers only has the odd piece. I'm wondering which bag is the anomaly... Mine does...

Re: Downsview Half / 5k
For years my TTC route took me through Downsview on a daily basis, and it always felt like rolling parkland. I warned a friend "pancake flat" was unlikely, unless they were using the old runways. So, the voicemail I got last night, with some cursing of the course and finish line now makes ...

Re: So...the UA bra...what say you?
Tried on the UA colour coded bra yesterday, and the lack of strap adjustment was a show stopper for me. However, it looked like the D/DD versions are different. They don't have a pull-over racer, instead offer adjustable straps. For the "blessed" ladies, it might be worth checking out

Re: David's Tea
I ordered the Advent Calendar. Derek and I agreed we'd split it - since many flavours I've tried, but he has not.
I also noticed they have "Christmas Crackers" - is this new? https://www.davidstea.com/holiday-crackers-with-tea?&TF=0C88C9665439&DEID=

Re: So...the UA bra...what say you?
I've gone back to the Shock Absorber Run Bra and the Moving Comfort Juno this fall, as Sugoi stopped making the RSR that I liked. However, I would love to hear feedback on the UA bras, as they go on sale much more often.

RA - you made a really good point. Derek thinks the store might not have steeped Cocomint enough for his taste preference. Thus the weak/lacking aspect. He might pick up enough to make a couple cups, and try steeping for a lot longer. Dr.S - I just looked at the invoice from the teas Derek brought h...

Re: David's Tea
I can't remember now which tea it was (one that I didn't buy) but the ingredient list mentioned that it contained dairy, even though it was a flavour that I never would have thought would contain dairy. For those who don't do dairy, watch out for it sneaking into teas in weird ways. Carrot Cake is ...
