I keep a 750 ml bottle on my desk and aim to drink at least 3 per day. I find that if I start off drinking water right from the morning, it helps. As some others have mentioned - I make myself drink before I eat as well. I don't know if you're a coffee or pop drinker, but how about encouraging yours...
