Real ale might help, or so I'm prone to believing. Hope it's a glancing blow of an injury Nick.

high

I've never met anyone with higher arches and insteps than I have. I don't make a complete foot print. I chose shoes with a lot of cushion, a ridiculously big toe box and a well fit heel, thanks to several wise suggestions. I also have had some fairly extensive analysis done on my foot impact...

Welcome to the mania. It's not that manic for me, but some of the meet and greets have hurt my cheeks from laughter. :D I learnt to run from these folks. This is year six for me and I turned fifty this spring. In the beginning I was cautious about increasing any part of my running and I'm still like...

Nothing for six years...

I've been plagued by sinus infections prior to taking up running. Running was one of the remedies. The last time I had a sinus infection the antibiotics didn't clean it up and I was back in the physicians office shortly after the first dose had run it's course. My doctor, rolled her eyes and said th...

You only want to stretch AFTER a workout. Stretching if your office would be like trying to stretch bubble gum before you've chewed it. Doesn't sound pretty, does it? Cold muscles should never be stretched. So yeah... stretch right after your run, and you will be better off for it. I agree and woul...

Re: tides

Change is good. I am never sure why it is that we so often resist. Time is a fickle foe I suppose. Ian Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, becau...
