I have done PEC twice last year as the 3:30 pace bunny and the year prior to qualify for Boston in 3:15. It is a great course and the hills are nothing. I have done Niagra twice and I swear I will not do it again because of the race organization and that darn wind. The last 30k into a head wind does...

WOW is it hot here! 34 C, 40C with the humidex. I did the old bike commute to work this morning but my legs were a bit dead from the bike ride home in the heat yesterday and then a few hour of work in the backyard getting it ready for summer fun (new patio and pool). have a great day and stay cool i...

We stayed at a B & B in the town of Bloomfield, which is halfway (by direct driving route) between the start (Wellington) and the finish (Picton). That way, Jane was able to easily and conveniently drop me off at the start beforehand, drive back to Bloomfield to catch me en route (~10-12k mark)...

YMCA Corporate Challenge Relay

Is anyone else in the Toronto area doing this race on Wednesday?

http://www.ymcatoronto.org/home.asp?load=26team

It is a really fun team race and unlike most races it is run in a relay fashion where each runner hands off to the next.

I will looking for any RM orange.

Great race in very tough conditions.

I am thinking about being a pace bunny at PEC again this year but I would like to pace a whole bunch of Maniacs if I could get a group together with the same time goal.

Last year I did 3:30.

Glad to hear it all went well. I think it is safe to say we all get nervous walking into situations that we do not know what will happen. If we all remember that everyone feels the same way it will make it less stressfull. Great job going back for the other runner! You have made our Nation proud. Paul

That means I would have to get 4 because I always have 2 pairs of running shoes on the go and 1 for my Tri-Bike shoes and one for my Hybrid bike shoes.

This running Mania thing is really costing me. Shirts, Road ID where will it end?

No fishishers medal for him you get nothing if you cant make it more than 42 km. sorry to be a hard a$$ but the guy should learn how to read his body and the conditions of the day...
