But the last few years I've been struggling with hitting 90min, no matter how I try to entertain myself. I find it amazing that I can run for 3hrs on the TM and actual...

Re: Surviving Indoor Trainer H-E-double-hockeystick

I'm new to the indoor trainer "he__". So far I've been using the Spinnervals dvds which I haven't done enough to hate, yet.... I also have the option (once a week) to take my bike and trainer to a studio and suffer with other cyclists having to do the indoor trainer thing. So far I like th...

57K today at Run4RKids 6 hour indoor event. Nice to see Ron, Chris, Christa and some others on the track. All very supportive and encouraging! Super pleased with how this went. Maintained a pretty even pace for most of the 6 hours (except for pee break at 3 hours and lunch break at 4 Hours). Got a ...

Re: FRIDAY - It a wrap!

Just under 12km done this morning. Best thing about my run today was having to stop while about 8-9 deer crossed the road in front of me. It was quite amazing (to me) to watch one deer after another come out of the bush and cross the road and in to the forest. It just put a huge smile on my face :D

Was hoping to run at least 10-12km today - ended having to TM like everyone else and managed about 8km. It was a horrible run - no gas in the tank today for some reason. Here's to the winter weather ruining weekend plans, yet again... gotta love Winter! NOT! :x
