Re: Tour de france 2015

Lance hooked a spectator's shopping bag with his handlebars and went down. I believe he was fighting with Jan Ullrich during the climb and Jan waited for Lance to rejoin him. It was an example of good sportsmanship. That was unlike the controversial incident in which Contador attacked when Andi Sch...

Drama! My favourite quote from live.cyclingnews.com: A couple more updates from the crash. Ten Dam dislocated his shoulder but, according the Lotto-NL-Jumbo's Twitter, was "popped back in". Good as new, then? :) jono Cyclists are tough, unlike soccer players .. Ha !!! :) :P http://d3ui957...

Re: Garmin Vivosmart Review

While talking to the Garmin rep at the ORW Expo, he basiscally suggested your observations, Jen ... As an All Purpose Watch, not a bad thing .. but, if you wanted a more specific gadget for swimming, running, biking, multi-sports, etc, then the Garmin Edge and/or Garmin Forerunner models may be bet...

Garmin's all-purpose product would be the new Garmin Active watch ... About $329 and $369 w/HR, if I recall ?? One of my running buddies just bought one to replace his forerunner and loves the idea that he only needs this one gadget to cover everything ... http://3-ps.googleusercontent.com/xk/0NK0_...

Have you cleared/deleted your garmin history regularly?

I remember in the past if the memory on my garmin was almost full, it would start to truncate details of earlier workoits, netc in order to maintain the new workout details??

Re: FlipBelt: review

I put mine in a plastic bag only if it's raining out. Otherwise it would be pretty tough to slide it in and out of the belt, which is why I like it while running. I supposed if you sweat profusely it could be an issue, but I've never had a problem (and I sweat a lot, but not usually on my waistband...

I just bought one myself, this afternoon ..
