Hush child!!!

Let it snow in the mountains; you can snowboard and I'll snowshoe. The city however, can stay just like this for another 2 months and I won't cry.

Well this will be my last year for this event. It has really changed, and not for the better. Years ago it was organized by a group of indivuals who wanted to raise money to help defer some of the costs of snow removal for our lovely running trails. Then two years ago they decided to move the event ...

I took about a week off for a calf muscle that I swear had a golf ball located inside of it.... It healed up nicely with physio. I took another week off in about March due to some crazy ultramarathon overtaining that left me weeping at the end of a long run. I figure you've hit your limit when that ...

I have to agree with Lesley... Swimming is the worst! I can't explain why but I'd always be hungry post swim workout. However, I did learn that training for an ultra and doing back to back (sat/sun) long runs resulted in some serious dinner time food consumption and caloric room for a Sleeman's crea...

"Why on earth would anyone run 50kms??" Man that gets old - try something like "cool" instead. The next favorite is how people wh...

I've heard that duct tape is great (really!). Have you ever used this? I really don't recommend it at all. Online Coach?

Has anyone used an online coach? Good? Bad? Toughts?

I've made most of my own training programs to date but I'd like to branch out and see what a coach would choose. In particular, I'm thinking of another ultramarathon but I'm not sure if that matters as to your feedback on online coaches.
