Re: Mainly Marathons - 2015

This is great stuff for those looking to join the 50 States club. Also, Marathon Maniacs has a lot of folks doing this series. If you do a lot of Marathons, the Marathon Maniacs membership gets you enough discounts that the $12 or $15 annual fee pays itself off.

Thanks Robin. I likely made an incorrect assumption somewhere in drawing my 100K conclusion. Biannual makes sense.

OUS 2015

Anyone have the inside scoop on when the Niagara Marathon & 50K may fall next year? Thanks. pattern would suggest June 13 but it appears the 100K may split off.

Re: Run4RKids - York University

Hi Folks, Does anyone know if this event is taking place in 2015? I was going to sign up and I do see that several familiar names are there. But I also see posted on the main webpage: We chose that the Run4RKids 2015 race will not go on, so we can focus on bringing in necessary funding for communiti...

...The other thing is that I ran a pretty controlled pace for the first 27K... This is key. I cringe whenever I hear or read that a marathon starts at 20 Miles. In fact the opposite is true in my opinion, your potential in that last 10K depends much more on how well you paced yourself for the first...

42.2K. Stage 7 (last of 3 runs) for me at ENDURrun. Hats of to all the ultimates who did 180K over the course of the week (7 stages in 8 days) including our own Dave (double bellybuster) and Tim (Timc) who both were way up in the standings. You should consider a rested road marathon, Tim. I suspect it might bring a 12-20 minute PB.

Re: EndurRun

How are you all doing 3 days in? Pretty good here. Tim and I are seeing a lot of each other on course. Lots of separation in the pack yesterday, looks like avoiding a 25 minute bonk-related slide in stages 3, 5 or 7 is as important as going quick when you are able. I think I will be around Friday n...
