90 minutes of hill running bracket by two 30 minute walks.

Well, on Monday I did my normal recovery 90 minute walk/run/walk and then three hours at the gym in the afternoon.

Yesterday, my friend Mike and I ran a trail training half-marathon. I also walked 7 km. Today, I ran 21 km with Janet, completed a 35 minute run/walk with Janet and BumbleG, and also solo walked for about 8 km/ Overall a tad over 32 km today and a little over 28 km yesterday.

Warm up run/walk with the Waterloo Rr 5K Clinic and my friends BumbleG and Janet. Then a nice 57:44 minute 10L Laurier Loop race.

Congratulations on your achievement. Not too shabby a time for a first race after your health issues. Congratulations!

Day one of six consecutive planned rest days

Out late ( for us ) last night and with the clocks going forward, I decided to not run into the Waterloo RR this morning. Instead I drove in with Mrs. Tortoise. I had a nice 2 hour run/walk. the first half with the marathon clinic runners and the rest with my friend Janet.

I went into LA Fitness for my usual 3 hour gym workout.

Pretty sunny and warm here in the K-W area.
I had a good fartlek run this morning in the sunshine. Then I went to LA Fitness for my usual 3 hour workout this afternoon.

A bit of snow here. Out for a 2 hour LSD run.

I decided to do my run at the gym along with my usual Wednesday workout. So a bit over four hours of dreadmill, elliptical, strength training, and stationary bike.

Cold, windy and snowy here. Out for a 2 1/2 hour walk/hill run/walk this morning.

31K done here. Pretty nice in the KW area today!

Didn't get home from Florida until 2 AM today. slept in for some reason. Went out grocery shopping this morning. That's the extent of my exercise today. Everyone dealing with the nasty weather today - be safe.

I was able to get out for a nice fartlek type run this morning. It was the fourth morning run since last Sunday's A1A Marathon here.

This was supposed to be the marathon that provided me with a qualifying time for the 2017 Boston Marathon. Instead it supplied me with a number of issues to consider. This was the third marathon in a row with times in the 4:40's. Obviously that is much slower than my times of the last few years. The...

Cold Florida here today. Out this morning for 5 km of fartlek running in a temperature of 4 C . I did, however, still run in shorts!!

Travel days yesterday and today. I hope to get out for a short run in Cocoa, Florida tomorrow morning.
