Re: 2013 Around The Bay
Bib 151 Expected finish - under 2:04. I won't say more. Okay I will - I would love to go sub 2, but unlikely this year. Don't sell yourself short. You ran sub-3 in the fall and from here it looks like your training since then has bumped you up another level or two. Unless you're really trying to ho...

Good luck! Why is your bib number so high - don't you normally finish top 50?
Thanks, I guess the numbering is assigned alphabeticly within corrals.

Re: Age-groups awards
I'm an age grouper, I like racing and usually I know some of who my competition is before hand, however for that reason it would be nice for age group bid to be worn on your back too, at least for big races. Masters races do that, number on the front and age group on the back. The award for me is le...

Re: January 2013
I'll share this month, I'm proud of myself. 440km this month averaging 4:23 pace per km, that is a new monthly total for me by about 50k. I ran everyday, longest run was 22k so nothing too crazy that way. This was the plan for ramping up to ATB, however I didn't think I would be this high. Next mont...

Re: Robbie-T @ Egg Nog Jog #9
Well done Robbie! It's a shame we didn't get to chat....you picked up 1st in your age group...even better! I threw in a 5th in the same age group ....long way to go to catch you though! My pal Matt from the Nomads was behind you in 7th...I agree with you, it would have been lonely up there. The ups...

Re: Proper form for Squats
I find what helps my form and therefore power is if I concentrate on keeping my feet flat on the floor, bum out, and look up on the way up, that helps keep my back straight.

talk about a puss! http://photos.mysportsshooter.com/eventgallery/17741/72/ As for the last few years my goal has been to dip below 40min on this course. This year I was feeling pretty good, the weather was good, not muddy, icy, snowy or slushy like usual, a bit of wind but not bad, as good as you c...

Re: Waterloo Marathon
There were only 100 marathoners and 300 halfers last year. I think it would be a fun half but as a slow marathoner I would never run this. I've done one very small field marathon, the late Forest City Road Race marathon in 2007, with about 210 marathon finishers and it got VERY lonely. And depressi...

Re: Marden Race Deal - 48 hours only!
got this from the web site
The route is primarily run on paved country roads. (see ROUTE MAP)
http://bit.ly/xeYXWY
The course is flat with a few moderate hills; there is some tree cover for wind protection.
This is an out and back race.

Re: Hamilton Marathon _Road2Hope_Review_PB
Hey Windy, solid running this marathon season. If Hamilton cleans up that course a bit more I think they will be very successful, they already get a great bunch of talent as it is.
I'll look for you in Terra Cotta.

Robbie-T @ 5Peaks Championship Race - Albion Hills
The final race of the 5Peaks series for 2012, this is my 3rd 5Peaks this year and 2nd race that was totally washed out. It has rained almost everyday for 2 weeks and raining again on race day, the wet leaves covering the ground, 4C weather, water was pooled up on the trails even in the very sandy so...
