Good luck next time out Ron. You are right the marathon is a different beast, always remember to taper for the marathon even as you tackle longer and longer trail races, and you'll surely get your 3:30:00 next time out when your stomach is in a better starting state.

Thanks. I had done this before posting and the elevation map reflected a jump off the side of the Expressway. It is now fixed and reflects exactly what you described. Anyone who had issues viewing this map, please take another look.

Unfortunately for me, 30+K runs are generally followed by 3000+calorie reward dinners!!! Something I'm changing to lose those last few pounds... You are not alone, this is a tough one for many. Small calorie deficits are comparatively easy to attain during the week when one is, for example, working...
