My friend and her dad were on the Galibier yesterday, 2K from the summit. I saw them on TV! It wasn't hard to spot them because I knew where they were going to be standing and their group was dressed in costume.

They're done, with a new Canadian record of 5 days, 18 hours and 20 minutes.

Less than 5 miles to go! The other team has finished (5 days, 17 hours, 44 minutes). Team TPL is solidly in 2nd place. Go TTPL, GO!

Their current elapsed time is 5 days, 7 hours and 30 minutes. They'll likely beat the previous Canadian record by 15-20 hours.

They're 2 checkpoints away from the finish! Still in second place. I think they're only about 30 miles from the finish, so they'll be done within the next 2 hours, I think.

They've closed the gap a bit and are now only 10 miles behind the leaders. They're approaching the Allegheny Mountain range. It's nothing like the Rockies that they went through at the beginning of their race, but it's still a lot of climbing. Then it's all downhill into Annapolis.
