Wednesday was a rest day. Thursday was a lovely but windy 6km along the river for my last pre-marathon run. Resting today, travelling tomorrow.

totally slushy snowy mess this morning! snow was very very wet so it was quite slick. afternoon had cleared up. 2 x run commute done.

7.5 km run commute this morning - I opted to take the bus home, so just a 2km snow-slog home from the bus stop.

welcome! a few strategies - gradually increase one of your runs each week. once the 5k distance seems easy to travel, you'll be able to speed up. The intervals are a good approach -try gradually increasing the duration and/or speed of the faster part. good luck!
