Re: NCM Marathon Route
Sylvie, I mapped out what I think is the route here:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3684846
Maybe you can zoom in and see if there are sidewalks near the bridge. I'm not familiar enough with the area to know.

Re: Ottawa - Kanata to Bank 32km
Honestly, next to the race itself, this is the best run when training for the full. You get a lot of support on the course, it's incredibly scenic, a TON of people come out and it's just amazingly enjoyable. .....except if you're going the wrong way. In 2008 I accidentally ran against the fl...

Thanks for the link to the videos, awesome!
Just for fun I put Simon's 10K time into McMillan. He should be able to run a 2:08:30 marathon, with appropriate training of course.

It's still a good time Lisa! Sometimes we're "on" and sometimes not. It's really hard to know why, there are so many variables.

Nice running Sheldon! It sounds and looks like quite the challenging course, especially in the rain. But, I bet it was a lot of fun.
I hope they found everyone that wandered off.

Re: mcshame smokin' in the rain @ Montreal 21k
Congrats Lorne!
Considering your training I thought you would have a good race, but not that good.
You really will have to think about what your NCM pace will be. It's a good problem to have.

Nice LSD with Louise, 30K @ 5:43/km, out past Stittsville and back. My first 30K run since May of last year. Feeling pretty good about that.

My first bike commute of the year; 23km one way.
A beautiful morning for a ride, hopefully I will beat the rain on the return trip.

Re: garmin vs sport tracks
FYI, while we're on the subject.
Garmin Connect did a big update on April 5th. It's much improved for displaying and editing your data. If you tried it and didn't like it, it might be worth a second look.
