Waited until I could hear the thunder this afternoon, then quickly harnessed Piko up for a run. I came home drenched in sweat, not rain, thanks to the sudden increase in humidity. Apparently the storm never hit this area 7K done.

Physio was VERY happy with my choice to volunteer instead of walk/run the race over the weekend. In return for the "wise decision", I was allowed to run a slow progression, to a max of 5K this morning. I'll admit to working hard for every step, but it felt great!! 5K in 30:29

PT put me on the mill this morning. First a walk, then a "run"! 4.50K walk in 35:42, followed by 1K in 7:24. So slow, so frustating, but I'll admit to tears of joy at the end.

Nothing much to report here. Still working through PT exercises. Second day of pool running, coupled with 75m "run" on ashphalt. Might not be pretty or fast, but I'm trying.

I wonder what the people of Perth are thinking about all the "free" races the Goats have bee putting on since mid-May. Me thinks the locals might wonder if the town's gone run crazy or something
