Re: Manitoba Marathon Q's & A's
CAW's post on registering for Manitoba prompted me to bump a great thread that started with the greatest running question of all time. Hard to believe this was SIX YEARS AGO. My friend was curious on just how flat the Manitoba Marathon course is ??  I think we should have another big R...

Read the list on the back of the box, which ONE have you not opened yet?

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013
We are so far behind. I don't think I've actually had any of the tea since Stormy Night (which I was able to purchase a tin of at my DAVIDs, btw).
Maybe now that silly season is almost over (just have the school concert left) I can start having a pot of tea every evening again.

Re: Looking for healthy, freezable meals
During our 5 day road trip from Nova Scotia to Manitoba we made sure to eat a big, healthy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for the day. Then we'd have a good, healthy supper at our stopping point (8 hours of driving is enough). So the key, for us, was to have a good variety of healthy snac...

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013
It smelled bad (and there was a piece of popcorn in mine!) - it definitely smells like burnt popcorn. Wasn't crazy for the taste either. I"m having a cup of Alpine Punch instead. My little tin is almost gone. :(  I had popcorn, too! Not in the one I brewed. I measured out two teaspo...

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013
I remember buying some (now that I'm drinking it) on sale as well. meh - it's not one I'd buy again, nothing stands out for me. I did tweet them though: Hey @DAVIDsTEA - why would you put a discontinued tea (Stormy Nights) in the advent calendar? What a tease! I'll let you know if they reply! (they...

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013
as I mentioned in the DAVIDs thread...I tried this one as a hot cup to go last week... :YMSICK: absolutely hated it. Tossed it out after 4 sips. I won't be even opening this one. So far this year I've had ONE tea I liked and that was Stormy Night (which I might not even be able to buy more of). DAVI...

I tried Alpine Punch as a hot tea to go last year and I was less than thrilled with it. I'll skip today's tea and let Scotty and MIL have at it. So far, I'm more convinced that I'll skip the 24 Days of Tea next year and just make my own... after 2 years, i'm guessing there won't be many teas left f...

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013
Ok day 1 white chocolate frost is ok. It mostly tastes like a regular cup of mint tea. I agree with deerdree i also would have preferred it with black tea. Perhaps White Chocolate Frost is supposed to be this year's answer to Cocomint Cream? (so disappointed Cocomint Cream didn't come back, very ha...
