Mango is a BIG thumbs up for me. It will overtake Green and Fruity for that "type" of taste for me.

Re: Your Favourite Winter Running Jacket

After running through years and years and years of frigid winters, there is nothing better than Icebreaker. Hands down.
It costs a lot but it is worth every penny in every way imaginable.

If you are in mild climate, it's less important.

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013

Genmaicha. I'm anticipating to not like this one. (But who knows  ) So the smell of this is quite off putting but it tastes like real traditional green tea. In an odd way, I liked it. I wouldn't make it a regular tea but I managed. I skipped Stormy Night since I have a tin of it so will save i...

Oh fair enough... I didn't realize you wouldn't know what the tea is... duh! I will reserve comments then. Have fun! I'll check in periodically to see what people think though. I won't have any to swap because I use the whole amount in a pot of tea. That's how I roll. You use the ENTIRE pod? ...

Re: David's Tea Advent Calendar 2013

I've cheated and started early since I am away over Christmas and will be behind a week. Day one done. White Chocolate Frost Meh. OK but not a repeat in my books. It was suggested as a latte as well but I generally always drink my tea straight up. (am I allowed to provide a review this early or did ...

Keeps you hungry and motivated for the 3:5x goal. :) And the rounding error is so true. Your garmin had you sub 4 when it hit 42.2 Not much more to say since I see you every weekend and get to discuss running and your awesomeness then, but I am thrilled that I was able to spend some time with Zack w...

Re: 2014 Ottawa Race Weekend - May 24-25, 2014

So, I'm about to hit register - and, I notice that the HST is added to the fee..... I can't find my registration e-mail from last year, but, I feel like normally the taxes were included in the fee. So it's normally $80 + service fee = 86 or something. NOW, I it's $80 + HST (11) + service fee (6.50)...

Great to see so many people out there today! Watched Ian, Erin, Canalrunner Mark and Jesse go by in the marathon before heading out to run the half. So many superb results today, congrats to all. 8) In 2003, I tackled the Ottawa half as my first 1/2 marathon. 10 years later I ran it again as my 21st...
