Both really I sometimes walk on the treadmill and sometimes outdoors with the stoller. I think I average about 11-12 min/km. Takes me just under an hour to walk 5 km! I tell "Robbie-T that I feel like I am really pushing at that speed and can't imagine ever going any faster :D He reassures me that I...

Can I join late in this challenge? I just had my son 11 weeks ago and the weight was dropping off quite nicely but now I am at a standstill and could use this extra motivation/pressure :P It seems like many of you have made some good progress just since January, way to go! My best advice for weight ...

Nope no walk for me since my big race on Sat. On Sunday Rob was in Miss. running his marathon so I was on my own with the kiddies, by the time he got home I was just too tired for anything. Last night and the night before I got 0 sleep!! Kaedon must be on a feeding frenzy or something, eating every ...

Wow, thanks everyone for all of the encouragement! You really do make everyone feel proud of their accomplishments around here, no matter how big or small. Thanks Robbie-T for supporting me and encouraging me even if it is through the sound of babies screaming and crying! Kaedon wanted me to...

Way to go hubby-o-mine! Kylar, Kaedon and I are all very, VERY proud of you. You have really come a long way with all of your hard work over the past year and a half. You are really setting a great example for your boys about hard work and reaching for your dreams. Now, as wifey I say no NYC maratho...

Congrats Marathoner! I have not met you yet Kristi (I am Robbie-t's other half) you really are an inspiration. I am sorry that I wasn't there to see you cross the finish line. I get very emotional when I see people meeting their dreams like this for the first time. Really a sobbing fool, your race r...

Watch out here I come!
Well, I have my first race under my belt since baby #2. Today I walked the 2.5 k pushing Kaedon in the stroller at the Erin District H.S. Raiders Run. It was a VERY small race so also very non-threatening for a beginner. I think there may have been about 6-8 walkers total, maybe 80 runners total doi...

BG1 Just had to put in my two-cents. If you feel good and are conditioned to walk 1/2 marathon then go for it and enjoy! If your doc. thought there was any problem he/she would tell you to stop. It is probably fun for the baby. Just listen to your body, if you need to slow down, oh well. You are goi...

Helene, wouldn't it be nice if we could clone ourselves. You could walk, run and do homework all at the same time! Tortoise, good luck at Mississauga this week-end. Hopefully the weather works out for you, I just saw a forcast of sunny breaks. Enjoy! I am hoping to get on my treadmill today for a bi...

Humpday Wednesday!
Just got a friendly reminder that I haven't posted for a couple of days (thanks Prats), just running around after my little monkeys  I did get in a walk last night about 45 mins at a quicker pace than I am used to. It felt great! I really enjoy my walks at the end of the day, it is a great way ...

CdnArtyWife, I completely understand how much walking is involved, years ago I too delivered census packages, while I was in teacher's college. It was great exercise and I got a great tan too! I am hoping to get on my treadmill for about 45 mins tonight but I wonder how many km's I put on each day c...

Helene, it seems so funny to hear you talk about walking on the ice. We have had such warm weather lately. I am glad you are enjoying your spring though, I bet you welcome any sunshine. Wacky Wednesday
Maybe we should have a daily post here too! Might give me a little more pressure to get going so that I can have something impressive to post. I cannot tell a lie either :P Yesterday I went for a one and 1/2 hour double stroller walk and it felt great! It was such a beautiful day. I am hoping to get...
