I found this FAQ on the Sport Chek website. Have you asked them to try and find a pair for you in one of the other stores? "I have been to my local Sport Chek store and cannot find a particular product featured on your site. Is there any way to find this item in my size and transfer it to the store?...

Do You Run Bare...
...footed? Now that I have your attention.... There was an article in the Halifax Daily News today about the trend to run barefooted. It basically states that the shoes of today do not allow normal muscle development in the foot and it can cause problems down the road. The premise is that if you run...

RE: Alien abductions... someone told me that a guy started an insurance company in the U.S. so people can now buy a policy for alien abductions and/or invasion   ....Sad thing is, there are probably people who will spend the $$! Jean :D Are you trying to imply I wasted my $416.75 US? :...

I'm thinking a tail is growing  ... :? So you are literally a great piece of tail? Did I just write that...

NRR - DaVinci Code
If you haven't read the book, I'm not saying anything you won't read in the first 30 pages or so. However, other responders may let something out of the bag. Well, I'm probably the last person to have read the DaVinci Code, I just finished it this week. I have to admit I don't see what all the hoopl...

Bailed on my bike commute to work as it was about to rain, so I guess today will be another recovery day! :D I don't mind riding in the rain sometimes. Not for three or four hours, but a shorter ride, followed by a hot shower can be invigorating. So this morning I was all set to go, with my rain st...

Another thing I like about going longer: When I stand at the start line of a marathon, I get this warm fuzzy feeling of community. 95% of the people around me have made it a priority in their lives to get to this start line, and have gone through the things I've gone through. Rich/poor, young/old, ...

I think for the masses it's the fact that not everyone is built for speed, but almost everyone can do distances given time and patience. I think if we were comparing a hundred yard dash to a marathon then your statement is correct, but I'm not sure about a 10K versus a marathon. Both are, in essenc...
