Re: Back in the Saddle Again

LOL! Yep, I'm back, and am sooo slow running with the jogging stroller that I might change my name to randomturtle..... :) I definitely need a good supportive bra now (everything changes after a baby, doesn't it?!) and could ABSOLUTELY use another 10k with Seussy! I've been doing run 2 walk 1 - coul...

Back in the Saddle Again

Hi all! I have been seriously unmotivated - depressed really at how I lost ALL my fitness during pregnancy and shortly thereafter and subsequently lost all my motivation. So now that I have to begin at the very beginning again, I am making a goal of running once a week for the next month. After this...

That SUCKS eljeffe - I am so sorry to hear that :( I'd be right upset if I was you :( If it is any consolation, I heard through the grapevine that the volunteer organizer left with a month or so to go before the race due to health reasons, so someone had to step in at the last minute and try to roun...

AWESOME!!!!!! Congratulations - that ROCKS for that course! I was actually worried about you all - thought it would be a bit too hot. So I guess I'll see you at the race in a year or so ;) Though I'll be lucky if I can get a sub 2:50 result!!!!!!

Nice shots! A run I've always wanted to do - but don't you have to hit certain time points otherwise you have to leave the course??? I am quite certain that I'd be too slow :( Click on the orange buttons if you want to buy individual prints, or the red one on the bottom if you want to buy a CD rom o...

This is so sad, on many different levels! My condolences to you and your family, Sara. I know what loss feels like for me, but I can't imagine what loss to a violent and senseless crime might feel like. I hope that peace comes quickly to your family, in whatever form that means for you all. I think ...

Hey, anyone who's had kids know if it will even be feasible for me to do this one? I'll be at 35 weeks, so probably a little on the big side.... Still, my "family" will be with me (in the bump) so I could likely do the superhero half (and keep walking if I think it's OK). We can all do the superhero...

Sounds great! Hot, but great!

I think it would be an awesome place to do a marathon - great!!! it would be awesome to run through all the gates and along the bridges and the like. Brings back many memories (although I was on the back of a moto, not on foot!)
