KIncardine Womans Tri

Long winded boring report, but I get a thrill about reading other peoples reports so here is mine. First triathlon of the year... all in all.. overall pleased with some sprinkling with sadness due to a non metal finish, I didn't think one was really possible but I was hopeful. Coming into the event...

I actually just got a handle bar model that attaches to the end like a little rear view mirror. However it has been knocked off countless times, even while riding. The concept is great just not so practical.

Heavy Legs

Needing help It just feels like I am not recovering from my training. I feel like I ran a race yesterday everytime I run lately. Seriously I can feel every step. Usually when my legs feel like logs it is due to needing new shoes, but I am running on shoes only 2.5m old, and I usually can get at leas...

I have always thought carring fluid for races was odd cause it is provided... but the last couple of races I have done ONLY had gaterade at the stations. These were 5 ans a 10k. I really wanted water..specificlly to dump on my head... gaderate would have gotten sticky.

Regular runs vs. Race speed times

Just wondering how everybodies time differs from regular runs to race speed.
For example, I generally run 10k in a 55min-1hour, but can race at least 45min. Is the difference this great for others??

But it seems to me that I should have covered more distance in that time.... or am I on crack? Somewh...
