I'm feeling very slow and lazy not having gotten any of my cardio in this weekend. :? This week is going to be different.

Today I'm taking the girlies on a little daytrip, perhaps to Peggy's Cove.

Was unable to get ahead in my studies last night. Let's hope tonight is a little more productive, I need to at least finish this week's readings.

LSD for me.
It isn't a holiday for me. I have to work. Of course.
I woke up thinking I am in need of a holiday. :?
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.

Oops, I slept too late and missed yoga. Oh well. 10 hours sleep was what I really needed.

Going to see the family for dinner today! Yay! I see my family frequently, but the holiday meals are about the only times that we are all in the same place at the same time! So it'll be me, my mom, my sister, and my 3 neices. Very excited!

I was going to bike to mom's, but I think I'll take the bus instead. Both my calves are really killing me from the LSD (then night on the dancefloor) on Saturday. It's both legs, and both calf muscles - gastrocs and soleus'. They hurt to the touch, and whenever I move. I shouldn't need new shoes yet. But maybe I should get some soon...

Just stayed in bed this morning 'til now .... I guess my body needed the rest and recovery from another chaotic weekend of festivities ....

Perhaps, a nice and steady ride later on today, mostly likely my last on the road/race bike, before clinging on to the touring bike for the rest of the Fall biking season ...

Take care and have a wonderful Turkey Monday ....

Congratulations again, to all those who raced, volunteered and cheered everyone else on, on the weekend, ... you did us all proud ....

No running today. Yard work this morning and then we are all off to my SIL's in Vankleek Hill for turkey dinner. The boys want to see the house that blew up with a natural gas leak...

Legs a bit stiff this morning...don't know why.

Rest day today, but I may fit a bike ride in there sometime today and hopefully a movie rental in there somewhere.

Other than that - more food today. Saturday was turkey at our neighbour's, yesterday was homemade lasagna here and tonight is turkey at my sisters!

Have a great day everyone,

Colleen :D

actually... we don't really "stuff" the turkey... stuffing is more of a "side dish"... we used the Stove top brand... the old folks don't like stuffing, so we leave it out.. I don't care for it... too salty

Did an easy 8K this morning - I was a bit more tired from my race yesterday than I anticipated (and the massive amounts of thanksgiving yumminess consumed last night may have been weighing me down!). I ran along the river this morning - what a beautiful fall day!

This afternoon looks like house stuff, and then spinning class tonight.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

Sanders is making pumpkin pies, and I'm about to stuff the bird.

Enjoy the post-feasting, feasting or fasting as the case may be...

Rest day for the both of us.

Just going to have a bowl of oatmeal and then head out for my LSD I missed yesterday (14k).

After that...probably a quiet day around the house, maybe do something with the girls, and get some work done on a presentation I am doing on Friday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Lisa
