Travelling Tuesday
Travelling Tuesday
Okay, I am still up packing - but it is after midnight!
Most likely a rest day and I will need it after our 5 am flight out of Winnipeg (what was I thinking?). That and some walking around Epcot later today.
Have a great day everyone,
Colleen

Have a great trip, Colleen!
It's 3am and I've been up for nearly an hour. I need to go back to bed and actually sleep. I'm not normally like this, but I've been planning my own big trip and woke up thinking about it... found some e-mails about it...
I ran for 45 minutes yeseterday evening. I think that's part of why I'm up. Finished my run around 9:40, then was online, and finally ate dinner around 10:45. A bit off kilter!! Bit I'm so happy I ran. It went really well, felt really good, and reminded me of why I love running, even when it's -12 and windy.
And my knee is only hurting a little bit!
Tuesday holds laundry, some yoga/strength, and maybe a run in the evening.

Rest day today, I really need it after yesterday's long run and swimming last night. My legs are dead tired today. I think a massage is needed.
Great swim last night, my stroke has really improved and I'm actually getting faster. Now if I could remember to kick...
Have great day everyone.

Tempo Intervals for me!
1 mile w-up
3 miles @ an ungodly pace
1mile c-down
It'll be on a treadmill at a Goddlife Club somewhere - maybe Stratford?
Have fun, Maniacs!

Day one of the new job went well - time for day two! I'm still not totally set up on my computer - I have internet, but no e-mail. Oh yes - and the phone # they assigned me actually belongs to someone else, who is not happy about getting my phone calls (though I wondered who was calling me on my first day!). All projects to figure out today.
This morning - master's swim (hopefully my new co-workers enjoy the smell of chlorine), and intervals on the treadmill tonight.

Hopefully I can get in some sort of (INDOOR) workout today. Dave and I are meeting with my financial planner tonight- oooh fun times. If I do hit the gym, I'll do a half hour on the bike or elliptical.
The toe is feeling better this morning than it did yesterday morning, and every other day it has improved over the day. Hopefully this naggy pain is on its way out!

So not like me! Up at 5 am , coffee, bagel and out the door for interval training:
2 miles w/up
5 x 1000m @ 10K
15 min c/down
In the snow. Mild murder on the ankles and legs still sore from Sunday's run, but super glad I got out there! It beats TM in the gloomy little gym (for which I am usually thankful.)
Have a great trip Colleen and a great day everyone!
Training downtown this morning, thank goodness, cos it's late!!!!!!!!

Rockin' Smokin' run. Good Job.
For me I must sing the praises of Screwshoes once again. Snowing in Ottawa for the 1,000th time this winter....
13km @ 4:57/km. One of those days where the effort didn't match the speed, in a bad way. I kept thinking i was running A LOT faster than I really was. Really had to crank the last 4kms. Rest day tomorrow, feel like I need it.
Upper Body / Core / Stretching at Lunch.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, and safe travels.

Welcome back, Paul! We haven't seen you in a while!
Today will be a mini-workout day for me. I didn't get a chance to do my strength workout yesterday, so I will do that this evening. No cardio, though (unless you count housecleaning).

Morning all.
Up early for me at 5:00am for 10k run on the TM with 4x800m speed intervals and 5x800m hill repeats. I never run early, as I can't get out of bed, but no time last night or tonight, so I had no choice really.
Snowing here in SW Ontario also, but I'm a whimp this winter and stayed inside. Although I can only do hills on the TM so thats a good excuse.
Have a great day,
FishHog

Went to the gym early to do core/strength workout.
Now off to the office...and probably another stressful day

No running for me today.... I have my annual allergy testing later this morning so I'll be working through lunch when I get back. I did some core & stretching before work though.
WooHoo.... Sauna arrives tomorrow. Can't wait.
Have a great trip Colleen!
Keep smiling Maniacs,

Ugh. Today was supposed to be the day I started. But I awoke at 4am with a two-tonne head (courtesy of my sinuses), technicolour snot, and a killer sore throat. Couldn't bear the thought of immersing giant head in the water, so I went back to sleep instead. Thursday I will try again!
At lunch, my giant head and I will do some yoga, maybe a run or spin if I'm feeling up to it.
safe travels Colleen.
I got out for a 9.3 km run this morning in Thornhill.....nice snow falling....only around -4....what a beautiful morning See...I am becoming and outdoor - winter - runner!!!
