Don't worry Jo-Jo, Just because I'm in touch with my feminine side, doesn't mean I'm fragile!!!!

Unless something really big comes up. I will be going. Hopefully on my bike. But it would take a something catastrophic to keep me away from this one!!!

Hey East Coasters. I like the hotel idea better than the camping idea. I am a camper and a runner but I have never been both at the same time!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.

I received a request from Tracy for recommendations on conveniently situated hotel rooms. Here is some info on both hotels and B&Bs for those who aren't into camping.

++++++++++++++

There are several hotels to choose from as well as some very good B&Bs.

Kingston Hotels
The Holiday Inn, Howard Johnson's, the Four Point's Sheraton, and the Radisson Hotel are all right downtown and are 2-4 blocks from the ferry dock.

Kingston B&Bs
All of the B&Bs on the above page EXCEPT The Green Woods Inn are all within a 5-10 minute walk to the ferry. You'll notice 3 of them are on Sydenham St. It's one of the most historic and beautiful streets in the city.

Wolfe Island B&Bs
There are many popular B&Bs on Wolfe Island. The General Wolfe Hotel is right next to the race start line. I can tell you the Button Bay B&B is already all booked up for that weekend; the owners are former race directors of The Wolfe Island Classic.

I know last year Margaret O'Dell tried to get a room at one of the hotels downtown about a month before the run and they were all booked up. Since it is a long weekend, it might be an idea to book a room now and then if something happens and you find out you don't need it, then you can always cancel it. But when they are full, they are full! At least downtown you can walk to the ferry, and to the Lonestar (if that is where we are going to be partying).

Well, our group is getting so big, we may have to book the whole restaurant!! This sounds like fun! I can't wait to see QuickChick with a lamp shade on her head.

I would *love* to come. It sounds like it's going to be so much fun. But it's too soon to say just yet. Money and time will be the deciding factors. And whether Isaac and I do our road trip to Alaska...

Besides, I'm a little worried about cramping Holly's style. ;)

Okay, if I am not racing and decide to go to the Wolfe and if I decide to ride my bike instead of going with Andre, at which pace do you plan to bike?

I wouldn't mind pulling you the whole way but at an average around 28 km/h. (not counting the stops and the breaks) 25 would be too slow and I wouldn't do it at this pace.
