A glitch in the works with respect to camping, but we're working on it.

The one campground on the island closed. The government upgraded their standards and the couple who ran it, both in their seventies, decided it was more work than they wanted to put in, so they retired.

A former director of the race, who is giving me guidance, says he's sure we can make arrangements with someone on the island to use a piece of their property. He lives on the island and will start making inquiries. So don't worry, we'll get it sorted out, hopefully by the end of January.

I'd actually prefer private property since KOA-type places and provincial campgrounds can be pretty restrictive... Tell 'em we'll be good, but possibly noisy tenants; they're welcome to join in!
