You bet - you just have to head North of 60 (actually, I'm not sure if Thompson is that far north). I didn't know there was 20km of trails though.

North of 60 is in the territories :-) Thompson isn't that far North compared to more populated places in Alberta and BC (Peace River, Fort Mac, etc...) It just happens to be pretty isolated compared to the northern plains of Alberta.

Oops - I've watched too much TV - when I grew up North of Thompson our motto was North of 56 - those 4 degrees make a bit of difference.

Oh well - Thompson is only a 10 - 12 hour drive from Winnipeg - just a little road trip!

10 - 12 hours? On the old log road maybe ... It's really more like 6 and a 1/2.

Yup, totally a decent drive. The falls there are just gorgeous! I know a few people that head up there every summer to camp, hike, etc.

They missed Saskatchewan, NFLD and NB!!!! but otherwise almost evenly spread out and politically correct (and it would have to be 12 instead of 10 best)

Well that'd be 14. For extra points, name the THREE Territories... wonder what percentage of Canadians can do that?

That would be 416, 905, and what, 705,519?

I think they better call in the Army!

Is yours on here?

La Cloche Silhouette Trail in Killarney is a beautiful trail, however that is not a photo of it. We ran it a few years ago and and pretty sure that's not it. Too funny.

Here is a link with photos from our run if interested. Scroll down to Aug 23...

I hear ya on the waterton/glacier trails. Crypt Lake trail is my favorite by far. It was rated the best trail in North America at one point I believe.
