Taking today as a rest day - I have to fast for a medical test just before lunch. I may walk back from the lab to work (only 3 km). Might do some core work later tonight after the Tater Tot's swim lesson.

Meh, it's early. Just got back from taking DH to the airport, he's back to Atlanta for another two weeks. I'm hoping his next visit will be when he gets to live here for good, but he doubts it will be.

The IL's left sunday night, and it wasn't a minute too soon. Having them here stresses both of us out, so it was nice to send them on their way again. Especially since they spent the weekend talking only about new grandson (BIL's baby). It was wayyyy annoying.

The rain here has finally stopped--it has been raining non-stop, and today it's finally supposed to be just cloudy. So I'll run when I wake up for real (this isn't for real, I'm going back to bed in a sec!). Probably head out for 6 miles, give or take...I want to try out my nuun, since gatorade has been causing nausea on my runs for a few months. Then have to start my job search--I promised DH I'd apply for 3 a day until I find something. Then I'll probably study for a lot of the afternoon, play with the cats, clean up the house, etc. Not too much on the schedule. The day will end with beer though!

Happy St. Paddy's day!

This is an easy/recovery week for me. I will do an easy spin on the bike tonight, about 45 minutes (or whatever feels good).

Happy St Patty's day to all!

Recent life events have created a "play the glad game" approach to my day to day accomplishments. Finding reasons to be glad about what life has dealt has pretty much got me through the last 2 weeks, so I will use that theory on my bootcamp experience last night.

My Bootcamp workout rocked last night! For those that don't know, I had been forced into an unscheduled rest period because of a pretty serious car accident I had nearly 2 weeks ago..... and the rest paid off big time. I was "glad" for this, 1/ because I was able to be back at Bootcamp so soon after, and 2/ I was able to complete most of the stations - this was a huge accomplishment! Best workout I've had in forever! Yay!!!!!!

Happy celebrations to everyone!

I have 16k on the schedule today, so I'll be running home most of the way home form work. It's actually 18k home. We'll see how important taking the TTC for the last 2k becomes.

What she said!

For me today, besides the potluck lunch at work today, I have a 50 minute run with tempo intervals and if I can fit it in, possibly strength training.

Weeekly shift at the RR tonight.

Have a great day everyone,

I'm still broken. Can't work out, so I'll probably opt for debauchery. Sent a text to a friend for a pint after work. If that one doesn't work, I've a few back-up friends to ask. ;) heh heh.

And I'll probably walk home.

*sigh*

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

How did I miss this?? I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt and have been able to rebound quickly. :)

Congrats Brian!

As suspected, I now have a full blown cold which will knock me on my a$$ for a few days. I'm sparing the office of my cold germs by working at home. Hopefully, I can get a run in before the end of the week.

I'll take a rain check on the Green Beer . ;)
