I am doing the Edmonton version on New Year's Day. Anyone else running, or are you all working on your post race season weight gain?

hmmm. anyone know of any good routes near LAX??? I'll be burning off my excess energy bouncing around. I love airports! Though, LA airport for an 8 hour layover may be a bit much...Scottie_M wrote:Running Angel wrote:I wanted to do this one. But I'll be at the LA airport while the Halifax one is on.

I'm doing Calgary as well - that's amazing that it's sold out. It wasn't that long ago that it was a relatively small number of fanatics trying to explain to our families our "new" new years eve plans.
Running Angel - if you're near LAX I recommend hiding under a bed or desk. I've spend time in some hotels near the airport and it was one of the scarier places I think I've ever been.

Nope .... not crazy about driving to downtown Ottawa on New Year's Eve on a Saturday along with 900 others to run on a dark stricken path ... Too many memories of this year's Hypothermic Half ....
