STWM Hoopla?

Postby RA. » Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:42 pm

Ok. I'll be in Toronto 3 weeks from tomorrow. What's the deal? Is there going to be a M&G before (i.e. Saturday night)/after (Sunday sometime)? I'm making plans with other (non-RM) friends and don't want to miss all the hoopla....

Please discuss....

I'm open for a time/place that weekend! Maybe after the race Sunday?

Three weeks from Sunday!

I'd be up for a lunchtime gathering Sunday. And by lunchtime, I mean 1ish since that's about when I'll be done!

When I was there before, we all met at the Lonestar, and people sort of just wandered in and out and ordered as they went. I definately wouldn't expect anyone to wait to start the after race meal until I am done.

Lunchtime on sunday would probably be good for me too! And late lunch is fine with me! :D

If someone in TO would like to pick a place, that would be great. Preferably in hobbling distance of my hotel (which is very near the finish line).

Depending on what I'm up to training wise that day I'd be up for a road trip for a late Sunday lunch Erin! ;)

On a semi-related note, does anyone go to the pasta dinner for events like this? I have never been to one before, so am not sure if they're worth it, but I'm thinking about it as I am interested in hearing Joan Benoit Samuelson speak.
