Who wants a Christmas present?

Postby AirForceRunner » Fri Dec 11, 2009 11:15 am

Just finished reading the 50/50 book by Dean Karnazes. Unlike his first book, I don't think I'll be re-reading this. But rather than giving it to the first person to reply to this thread, we'll make it a lottery of sorts, to see who gets an extra Christmas present this year.
If you are interested, just reply to this thread (no PM's, I'm a notoriously negligent 'logger-inner'). Come Sunday night (13 Dec), I'll write down the names, throw them in a Santa hat, and have a trusted second party (my son) pick a name out of Santa's hat.
Let the festivities begin!

I'll also add that if there are any short-term or long-term lurkers out there who have been hedging on becoming an active member of RM, what better reason to register. You can throw your name in the hat as well!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Nope, I've just ALWAYS been a Leafs fan, and I am just waiting until one day when they actually figure out how to play the game, and then I can tell everyone.... I've always been a leafs fan.. That said, they do suck almost every year and I don't watch them very often, but they did win a game Wednesday that I watched. (barely, but they did win)
