It's been a busy, crazy week doing newspaper and radio interviews and I can't wait to actually go out and run with the torch. My "uniform" has been tailored and ironed. Not sure what I'm wearing under it yet - will need to see what the weather is going to be like. I'm sure that I won't be able to sleep at all tonight.
If you are in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, I'm running at 6:24pm from Waterloo Square. The torch will get there around 6:20pm, everyone will sing O-Canada - then I'm off. My torch bearer number is OTR059-144.
If you are not in the area, you can watch on the live webcam @ http://www.ctvolympics.ca/torch/follow-torch/index.html
They may not show part or any of my run since they usually don't broadcast during community celebrations.
ps - My "real name" is Janice Newton if you are listening for the announcement at Waterloo Square or checking the twitter feed on the webcast.

Re: My Olympic Torch run is tomorrow (Sunday)
we are in the Kitchener-Waterloo area right now! I don't think we'll make it out tomorrow night, since we did see the torch when it was in Ottawa (and told the kids that it was a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity!
i run for me.

Whoo hoo ... I love torch reports! My torch watched the hockey game with 'the boys' yesterday. They took turns passing it around and posing for photos. Pretty silly but I think the torch had a good time
Can't wait to hear about your run!
